How to “Book” on Shelf

To book a DRONE, first make sure you are in “Kits” and select the drone you want.

To book an item that is NOT a drone, make sure you are in “Assets”

Once you have selected the item you want to create a booking for, click “Book” in the upper right hand corner and then select “Create new booking”

After that a “Create new booking” tab will pop up which will require you to enter a ‘Name’, ‘Start Date’ End Date’ and ‘Description’. After each slot is fulfilled, press “Create Booking” to continue.

Here is what to enter for each slot.

Name - “Last Name & Course” (ex. Byrd AT419)

Start Date - Day & time you expect to pick up the drone

End Date - Day & time you expect to return the drone

Description - Discuss flight area as well as intentions of flight

You will then be brought to the booking page where it gives you an overview of your booking. To finalize your booking, click “Reserve”

You also have the option to add additional equipment to your booking by using the “Manage assets” button.

Once you click “Reserve”, the status of your booking should go from Draft to Reserved. This confirms that you have officially booked an item(s) in Shelf!
